2016 Season (Senior): Took over the starting spot as designated player after starting a total of 17 games her first three years … Provided power in the middle of the lineup with a school season record 12 home runs, breaking the previous mark of 10 … Second-Team All-MVC performer … Selected as team’s MVP … Started 47 of 48 games at designated player … Team-best 39 RBI tied for the fifth-best season total in school history and her .603 slugging percentage is third all-time … Had the best slugging percentage by a Brave since 1999 … In MVC play, she hit .300 with eight home runs and tied the Bradley season record for RBI in conference games with 24 … Second on the team with 10 doubles and 16 walks … Had 28 two-out RBI and hit .375 with two outs … Hit a three-run walk-off homer in the first game at Illinois State as the Braves won the regular-season series from the Redbirds for the first time since 1987 … Belted a pair of home runs in a game at Wichita State and collected seven RBI for the most by a Brave in a game since 2004 … Owned a .650 slugging percentage and .391 on base percentage in MVC games … Drove in 21 runs with two outs in conference action.  

2015 Season (Junior): Started four games and appeared in 20 games … Led the team with 11 pinch hit at bats and had two pinch hits … Started the first four games of the year at first base and played a total of six games at first … Went 1-for-2 with two walks in the season opener against Utah Valley … Pinch hit in all three games of the Loyola series, going 1-for-2 with two RBI … Had a RBI pinch hit single in the second game of the series against Indiana State … Had all three of her RBI in Valley play. 

2014 Season (Sophomore): Used primarily as a pinch hitter … Made one start at first base … Four of her six hits on the year came in pinch hitting situations … Made her only start of the year at nationally ranked Tulsa … Hit a grand slam against Mississippi Valley State … Delivered a pinch-hit two-run double in the other game against Mississippi Valley State … Appeared in nine MVC games.

2013 Season (Freshman): Ranked third in the MVC and second on the team with five hits in pinch hitting situations ... Emerged as a starter later in the year, finishing the year with a .255 average and seven RBI ... Had a .333 batting average as a pinch hitter ... Collected all seven of her RBI in MVC play ... Recorded her first career hit against Morgan State, delivering a pinch-hit single ... Belted a solo homer in the first game of the UNI series ... Boasted a .340 on base percentage ... Drove in a pair of runs with a double in the series finale against regular-season MVC champ Creighton.

High School: Hit .500 and drove in 51 runs as a senior to go along with nine doubles, two triples and nine homers ... Belted 11 homers as a junior, while hitting .447 ... Was a two-time first-team all-state selection ... Two-time all-conference performer ... Helped the Braves to conference and regional titles her final two prep seasons, along with a sectional title as a junior (2011) ... Also lettered in volleyball and basketball.

Personal: The daughter of Brad and Michelle Huggins, Rachel was born in Decatur, Ill. ... Has two brothers: Kyle and Nathan ... Majored in communications (television arts)
