2016 Season (Sophomore): Saw the bulk of her action early in the year, starting 18 of her 20 games played … Made all 18 of her starts at shortstop … Collected hits in each of the first two games of the season … Went 2-for-4 with a run and RBI against Morehead State … Was 2-for-2 with a walk and a run in the March 5 win against Boise State.  

2015 Season (Freshman): Came off the bench in 22 games … Used primarily as a pinch runner … Scored five runs … Tallied her first hit in a pinch hitting role against Murray State … Also had a hit in the second game of the series against Drake … Made her only appearance in the field at second base against SIU Edwardsville … Appeared in nine conference games.   

High School: Four-time all-conference selection … Named team’s best defensive player each of her final two prep seasons … Chosen as Greater Spokane League Scholar-Athlete as a senior … Helped her team finish fourth in the state as a junior … Led the Titans to a pair of district titles and one regional championship.

Personal: The daughter of Diana and Octavio Morales, Taylor was born in Fort Collins, Colo. … Has two older siblings: Alexa (25) and Andres (22) … Plans to major in international business … Her sister Alexa played softball at Portland State … Her grandfather Tom Nomina played six years in the NFL with the Denver Broncos and Miami Dolphins.
