2017-18 SEASON
Cross Country: Posted a time of 25:32.2 at the Bradley Intercollegiate before missing the remainder of the season with an injury.
Indoor: Won his first individual title at a Missouri Valley Conference Championship, placing first in the mile run • Also claimed his third career title in the distance medley relay at the conference meet • Set the school record in the mile with a time of 4:00.39 at the Washington Invitational • His time was nearly 2.5 seconds better than the previous school standard, while finishing as the nation’s 33rd-best time in 2018 • Also a member of the nation’s 17th-fastest DMR team in 2018, running the mile leg at Notre Dame’s Alex Wilson Invitational in a team time of 9:32.31 – shaving nearly 30 seconds off the previous BU record and the fastest time in the Valley in nine years.
Outdoor: Recorded a time of 4:02.76 in the 1,500m run at the Bill Cornell Spring Classic before missing the remainder of the season with an injury.
2016-17 SEASON
Cross Country: Did not compete during the cross country season.
Indoor: Won the distance medley relay at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship to claim his second conference title • Ran the 1,200m leg of the race with the Braves setting a school record at 10:02.07 • Also placed fourth in the mile run at the MVC meet • Posted a career-best time of 4:05.83 in the mile at the Meyo Invitational, the third-best performance in BU history • Also set PRs and rank fifth in school history in the 800m run (1:54.87 at the Illini Classic) and the 3,000m run (8:13.88 at the Iowa State Classic).
Outdoor: Named to the USTFCCCA All-America Second Team • Became the first Bradley man to qualify for the NCAA Championship in 42 years, placing 15th nationally in the 1,500m run with a time of 3:45.04 • Earned his bid to title meet by placing fourth in his final heat at the NCAA West Preliminary • Placed second at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship in the 1,500m, earning all-conference honors for the first time in his career in an individual event • Set the school record in the event at the Bryan Clay Invitational, posting a time of 3:43.08 with his time qualifying him for the NCAA West Preliminary • Also set PRs in the 800m run at the Redbird Invitational at 1:54.38 and in the 5,000m run at the Drake Relays at 14:10.19 – the fourth-best time in BU history.
2015-16 SEASON
Cross Country: Opened the cross country season with a career-best 8K time of 25:08.6 at the Bradley Intercollegiate • Finished 125th at the Notre Dame Invitational.
Indoor: Won the 3,000m title at the EIU Friday Night Special during the indoor campaign • Part of a school record 4x800 relay team • Clocked the second-best indoor mile time in school history and finished eight at the MVC Indoor Championship.
Outdoor: Did not compete during the 2016 outdoor track season.
2014-15 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran a career-best 25:22.7 8K at the Bradley Intercollegiate • Finished 39th at the MVC Cross Country Championship to help the Braves finish third.
Indoor: Part of school-record breaking distance medley relay team which won at the 2015 MVC Indoor Championship • Owned the second-best mile and 3,000m times on the squad during the indoor season • His indoor mile time ranked second in school history, while his indoor 3,000m time ranked third all-time.
Outdoor: Finished fifth in the 1,500m at the MVC Outdoor Championship • Clocked second-best 1,500 and 5,000m times on the team in 2015 • Posted second-fastest outdoor 5,000m time in school history (14:30.48) and third-best 1,500m (3:49.23).
2013-14 SEASON
Cross Country: Saw action in six meets in the fall, including the NCAA Regional where he was fifth on the team.
Outdoor: Bradley's top finisher in the 800m (13th) at the MVC Outdoor Championship • Posted the fifth-best 1,500m time in school history at the MVC Outdoor Championship to advance to the finals.
HIGH SCHOOL
Finished sixth at the state track meet in the 1,600 meters as a senior and was a two-time state qualifier in both track and cross country • Earned all-state honors in cross country and track • Holds the school record in 5K and 1,600 meters • Part of the Red Raiders three-time conference champ 4x1,600 meter relay team.

The son of Kenneth and Donna Gagne, Daniel was born in Wauwatosa, Wis. • Two brothers: Charlie and Paul • Majoring in accounting.
