CAREER BESTS & RESULTS
2018-19 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in four meets during her senior campaign, placing in the team’s top five in three of the races • Finished third on the team at the NCAA Midwest Region, placing 56th overall with a career-best 6K time of 21:37.9 • Crossed the line in 28th at the MVC Championship as Bradley repeated as conference champions.
 
Indoor: Member of the program’s first distance medley relay title, running the anchor leg at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship with a team time of 11:56.37 – the fifth-best mark in school history • Also placed fourth in the conference meet in the mile run • Ran the second-best mile in school history (and fastest in eight years) with a 4:49.91 mark at Iowa State • Also clocked the third-best 800m in the BU record book with a 2:11.84 at Notre Dame.
 
Outdoor: Earned all-conference honors in an individual event for the first time during her career, placing second in the 1,500m run with a time of 4:31.56 • Set her PR in the event at the Drake Relays, running the fourth-fastest time in the BU record book at 4:26.20 • Won the only race of her season in the 800m, posting a time of 2:11.44 at the Illini Twilight • Also a member of the 4x400 relay that finished fifth at the MVC Championship with the second-best time in school history (3:54.26).

2017-18 SEASON
Cross Country: Made her NCAA debut at the Illini Open, running the 5K in 20:23.0.
 
Indoor: Advanced to the finals of the MVC Championship in the 800m run, placing seventh overall at her first conference championship • Set a PR at the GVSU Big Meet with a time of 2:12.27 – the fourth-best time in school history • Finished first in the 800m at Indiana State • Part of the second-fastest 4x400 relay in school history (3:58.96), running the anchor leg at the GVSU Big Meet • Also ran the mile in 5:09.77 at Illinois.
 
Outdoor: Reached her second-consecutive finals of the 800m run at the MVC Championship and finished fifth overall • Clocked the fourth-best time in school history in the 800m with a mark of 2:09.94 at the Musco Twilight • Added the fifth-fastest time at Bradley in the 1,500m, crossing the finish line in 4:28.05 at the Bryan Clay Invitational • Also a member of the second-fastest 4x400 relay team that raced a 3:56.97 at the MVC Championship.

DUBLIN CITY UNIVERSITY
Ran with the Dragons during the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons • Helped DCU to a second-place finish at the 2015 National Varsity Cross Country Championship • Earned the gold medal in the 800m run at the 2015 National Varsity Outdoor Track Championship, while collecting the bronze at the 2014 outdoor championship and the 2015 indoor championship • Also a member of relay teams that claimed the 4x400m relay crown at 2015 outdoor meet.

HIGH SCHOOL
Member of the cross country and track teams at St. Flannan’s College, Ennis • Collected numerous national and regional underage medals at club level in cross country and on the track in the 800m and 1,500m runs • Also played basketball and Gaelic football.

PERSONAL
Born May 3, 1995 • Daughter of Gerry and Joan Markham • Two brothers, Brian and Liam • Liam was a member of the track and field team at the University of Illinois from 2012 to 2016, twice qualifying for the NCAA Preliminaries and earning All-Big Ten accolades • Pursuing her master’s in non-profit leadership.
