2019-20 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran in two meets as a senior • Placed second at the WIU Early Bird Invite with a 6K mark of 19:34.0.
Indoor: Advanced to the finals of the mile for the second-straight season at the MVC Championship, placing 10th • Clocked a season-best time in the event at the GVSU Big Meet with a mark of 4:21.44 • Also ran the 800m during the season with a season-best time of 1:57.50.
2018-19 SEASON
Cross Country: Raced five times during the 2018 season • Finished seventh at the WIU Early Bird Invite with a 6K time of 19:35.9 • Clocked a career-best 8K mark of 26:08.4 at the Bradley Intercollegiate.
Indoor: Advanced to the finals of the MVC Championship in the mile, placing 10th overall • Posted his PR in the event with a 4:15.35 at the GVSU Big Meet • Also tallied the fifth-best 800m in school history at Notre Dame with 1:54.08.
Outdoor: Advanced to the finals of the 1,500m run at the MVC Championship with a PR time of 4:01.00 in the prelims, finishing 10th overall • Also ran the 800m with a season-best mark of 1:54.50.
2017-18 SEASON
Cross Country: Raced in six meets during the 2017 season • Posted a career-best 8K time of 26:46.2 at the Bradley Intercollegiate.
Indoor: Won his first conference championship as a member of the distance medley relay team that finished first at the Missouri Valley Conference Championship • Ran the 800m leg at the conference meet as Bradley finished more than three seconds ahead of second place • Crossed the finish line first in the 800m at the EIU Friday Night Special • Posted the 10th-fastest time in BU history in the event at the Meyo Invitational with a PR time of 1:56.15.
Outdoor: Posted a PR time in the 800m at the MVC Championship with a time of 1:54.15 – ninth-best in BU history • Ran the 1,500m at the EIU Big Blue Classic in 4:10.24.
2016-17 SEASON
Cross Country: Ran six meets during his rookie campaign • Posted a season-best 8K time of 27:43.9 at the Bradley Intercollegiate, placing 47th overall.
Indoor: Competed in the 600m and 800m run during the indoor season • Clocked a PR of 1:56.64 in the 800m at the GVSU Big Meet • Also set a career-best of 1:25.61 in the 600m run at the Illini Classic, the 10th-best time in BU history.
Outdoor: Posted a career-best time of 1:56.79 in the 800m run at the Illinois Twilight • Set a PR of 4:05.60 in the 1,500m run at the EIU Big Blue Classic.
HIGH SCHOOL
Finished eighth at the Class 1A state track and field championship in the 1,600 meters as a senior • Helped the Panthers to a pair of conference titles in cross country and claimed two individual conference titles of his own • Holds school records in the indoor 400, 800 and 1,600 meters in addition to being part of school record setting 4x400 and 4x800 relays • Also holds the outdoor school mark in the 1,600 meters and 4x400 relay • Was a five-time state medalist in track • Helped his squad to three conference titles and four sectional championships in track.

Born June 30, 1998 in Urbana, Ill. • Son of Lynn Porter • Three siblings: Ryan, Samantha and Sydney • Majoring in biomedical science and Spanish • Was the valedictorian at Paxton-Buckley-Loda High School.
