Alex Koeller

Alex Koeller joins the Bradley Braves Women’s Basketball staff as an assistant coach for his first season at Bradley, bringing over a decade of coaching experience across the high school and collegiate levels.

Koeller arrived at Bradley following a successful stint at University of Wisconsin–Platteville, where he joined the women’s basketball staff in the summer of 2022. Prior to his time in Platteville, Koeller spent three seasons at Edgewood College, helping guide the Eagles to one of the most successful stretches in program history. During the 2019-20 season, Edgewood captured the NACC North Division title and the NACC Tournament Championship, finishing with a program-best 25-3 record. The Eagles also earned their first NCAA Division III Tournament appearance in 15 years.

Before transitioning to the collegiate ranks, Koeller built a championship pedigree as the head varsity coach at Marshall High School. Under his leadership, the program secured back-to-back Division III Wisconsin State Championships in 2018 and 2019. His success earned him recognition as the 2018 WBCA High School Girls Basketball Coach of the Year.

Koeller earned his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sport Management and Leadership from Viterbo University and later completed his Master of Business Administration from Edgewood College. He and his wife, Dani, have two daughters, Raelyn and Jayla.
