Dustyn Yung

Dustyn Yung was named Director of Women’s Basketball Operations in May 2015 and the 2018-19 season will be his fourth on The Hilltop. 

In his role as Director of Operations, Yung coordinates the team’s travels along with assisting administrative duties for the program. 

During his time with the Braves, Yung has helped Bradley improve its overall win total in each of his three seasons to mark the first time BU has posted a higher win total in three consecutive seasons in program history.  In addition, the Braves enter the 2018-19 campaign in search of a third consecutive top-seven finish in the Missouri Valley Conference standings, something the Braves have not accomplished since four consecutive top-seven finishes between 2001-02 and 2004-05. 

Yung, who earned a Masters of Education in Athletic Administration from Central Methodist University and is a 2013 graduate of Central Methodist with a degree in education, served as a graduate assistant with the women’s basketball team at his alma mater for the 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons after working as a student assistant coach for during his junior and senior years.

He was part of back-to-back 20-win seasons, helping the Eagles to a 25-8 record and the school’s first NAIA Tournament appearance as a senior in 2012-13 as a student assistant coach along with a 22-9 mark in his first year as a graduate assistant in 2013-14.  Yung oversaw the video operations for the Central Methodist women’s basketball team in addition to assisting with scouting reports and recruiting efforts for the Eagles.

Yung helped with the development of a two-time honorable mention All-American during his time at Central Methodist, where he also helped organize a high school summer basketball league along with overseeing the squad’s community service and fundraising activities.
