JT Klopcic joined the Bradley Athletics staff as Coorindator of Academics and Student Services during the 2021 spring semester and he begins his first full year with the Braves in 2021-22 as Director of Academics and Student Development. In his new role, Klopcic works directly with the Bradley Men’s and Women’s Basketball programs, while also serving as the staff liaison to the Braves Council Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Klopcic joined the Bradley staff from Missouri Valley Conference rival Valparaiso, where he served as Assistant Academic Support Coordinator since August 2020. At Valpo, Klopcic served as the primary academic coordinator for Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Men’s and Women’s Track and Field, as well as the Football defense and special teams student-athletes. In addition to his academic support, Klopcic served as the primary advisor for the Valpo student-athlete advisory committee and developed, implemented and oversaw the racial Diversity Equity and Inclusion program for student-athletes.

Klopcic received both his bachelor’s degree (2019) in counseling and his master’s degree (2020) in community-based education from Stevenson University. While pursuing his undergraduate degree, Klopcic also competed on the Stevenson Track and Field teams and was a leader in the student-athlete advisory committee programming. Klopcic chaired the Stevenson SAAC, served as Vice Chair of the Middle Atlantic Conference SAAC and was elected to represent his counterparts nationally on the NCAA Division III SAAC.

Extending his leadership in student-athlete initiatives to the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A), Klopcic serves several N4A committees:Â social media task force co-leader of the Communications Committee; communications special teams co-leader of the Young-Professionals Sub-Committee; member of Student-Athlete Development Programs and Practices; member of the Student-Athlete Well-Being Committee; and member of the Student-Athlete Mental Health Sub-Committee.

While pursuing his master’s degree, Klopcic began his career in academic support services by working as a graduate assistant academic success coach for Stevenson Online. He also worked daily with the Assistant Director of Communications to strategize, plan and implement marketing initiatives and materials. Midway through the 2019-20 school year, Klopcic added coaching duties to his experience by working as Assistant Track and Field Coach at Goucher College.
