Named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Freshman team ... Her 75 three-pointers is the second best total by a freshman in Missouri Valley Conference history and second best season total in school history ... Was selected as the State Farm MVC Newcomer of the Week three times ... Earned MVP honors at the Northern Arizona Thanksgiving Classic in Flagstaff, Ariz ... Ranked third on the team in scoring at 9.2 points per game and was second with 56 assists ... Is the 13th freshman in school history to start a season opener since the start of the 1981-82 season ... Connected on six three-pointers on two occassions ... Ranked second in The Valley in three-point field goal percentage (.403) and three-point field goals per game (2.4) ... Scored in double figures 16 times, including nine of the first 13 games of the season ... Battled an injury midway through the season, but came on late in the season, averaging 12.0 points per game and shooting 10-for-21 (.476) from beyond the arc over the final three games ... Finished the year tied for 27th in the nation in three-point field goal percentage ... Was 30th in the country overall in three-point field goals per game and second among freshman. Had her wrist taped during the first half of a home game against Evansville and went 1-for-5 from beyond the arc, before removing the tape for the second half and hitting 4-for-9 from three-point range ... Her 284 points on the year is the sixth best total by a freshman and most for a Bradley frosh since Heather Best (1995-96).
High School
The most prolific scorer in school history, she is the all-time leading scorer in Sioux City girl's basketball history ... Finished her career with 1,837 career points scored, surpassing the previous record of 1,499 points previously held by former Drake player Erin Dohrmann ... A three-time all-state performer ... Helped Bishop Heelan to a 72-24 record in her four years, including a 44-6 (.880) mark her final two seasons ... Named the Class 3A State Player of the Year by the Iowa Sports Connection after leading the Crusaders to a 25-2 record and the Class 3A state title ... Averaged nearly 20 points per game as a senior, scoring over 500 points in her final prep season ... Selected as the 2008 Sioux City Journal Metro Female Athlete of the Year ... Won three medals in the Class 3A state track and field meet as a senior as part of relay teams ... Was a four-time state qualifier in the long jump and finished 11th in the long jump in the state meet as a senior.
