Terry Veile joined the Bradley Volleyball staff as a volunteer assistant during the summer of 2021 and is in his first year on The Hilltop.
The Fairfield, Wash., native arrived at Bradley after spending the three previous seasons as an assistant coach with both the men’s and women’s volleyball programs at Culver-Stockton College in Canton, Mo. During his time with the Wildcats, Veile served as recruiting coordinator in addition to overseeing the strength and conditioning programs and travel for both squads. He helped mentor six all-conference performers for the men’s team at Culver-Stockton and served as the interim head coach for the women’s squad during the 2019 season.
Prior to his time at Culver-Stockton, Veile returned to his home state where he was assistant coach and summer camp coordinator for the Community Colleges of Spokane during the 2017-18 school year.
No stranger to Illinois, Veile graduated from Quincy in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. An academic all-conference performer during his time with the Hawks, he also set the school record in the javelin while at Quincy. Veile also garnered Quincy’s St. Francis Award his senior year.
In addition to his work at the collegiate level, Veile coached club teams in Spokane, Wash., and Quincy, Ill., along with serving as assistant varsity and head junior varsity coach at Liberty (Ill.) High School after graduating from Quincy.
Veile has played volleyball in 31 different states and won a bronze medal at the USAV Adult Nationals in sitting volleyball in 2019.
