A seasoned collegiate coach with a track record of building competitive programs and developing student-athletes, Brad Jones was named the 13th Head Coach of Bradley Women's Tennis on May 8, 2026.

Jones arrives at Bradley after spending the 2025–26 season as head coach at the University of the Ozarks in Arkansas, where he led the men’s team to its most wins in over a decade.

Prior to Ozarks, Jones was the head coach at Brevard College from 2019-25, where he led both the men’s and women’s programs. During his time with the Tornados, Jones guided the programs to three consecutive USA South Conference Tournament appearances on both sides. His 2025 women’s team recorded its sixth straight winning season, while the men’s program posted its highest win total in over a decade. His 51 women’s victories rank among the top marks in program history, and his student-athletes consistently earned All-Conference and weekly conference honors.

Prior to Brevard, Jones served as head coach at Bethany College from 2017-19, where he revitalized both programs and led the women’s team to its first winning season in four years. He began his collegiate coaching career at Emory & Henry College as an assistant and interim head coach and also earned Southwest District Tennis Coach of the Year honors at Abingdon High School.

In addition to his collegiate experience, Jones has served as a tennis professional and director at several clubs, including Westwood Country Club, Darnestown Swim and Tennis Club, and River Falls Swim and Tennis Club.

A former student-athlete, Jones competed at Emory & Henry College, earning All-Conference honors in 2007. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management and a master’s degree in community and organizational leadership from Emory & Henry. 

A native of Bristol, Virginia, Jones brings more than 100 career collegiate coaching wins and professional certifications from both the Racquet Sports Professionals Association (RSPA) and the Professional Tennis Registry (PTR) to Bradley.
