Colin Shannon

After four seasons with Oakland University men's basketball as Director of Basketball Operations, Colin Shannon is set to join the Bradley men's basketball staff as Director of Administration and Assistant General Manager.

During his four years with the Golden Grizzlies, Oakland averaged just over 17 wins per season from 2022-23 through 2025-26. The program's success included a trip to the 2024 NCAA Tournament, where Oakland earned an upset victory over No. 3 seed Kentucky in the Round of 64.

Prior to his role as Director of Basketball Operations, Shannon spent eight months as a Graduate Assistant within the Golden Grizzlies program. In that position, he developed video scouting reports for each opponent and created analytical reports for the coaching staff, including lineup optimization studies, possession-by-possession set tracking, shot charts, and other specialized analytics tailored to the team's priorities.

Shannon previously served as Oakland's Assistant Video Coordinator and was also the Head Freshman and Junior Varsity Basketball Coach at Royal Oak Shrine High School. During his undergraduate years at Oakland University, he worked as a manager for the men's basketball program.
