JerShon Cobb

JerShon Cobb enters his second year as an assistant coach for Bradley Women's Basketball.

Cobb most recently comes from Loyola University Maryland, where he served as an assistant coach since 2022. At Loyola, Cobb worked alongside his former assistant coach, Taravas Hardy, from when he played his collegiate years at Northwestern. 

Cobb received his bachelor of arts in African-American Studies from Northwestern in 2015 and played professionally in the NBA G League and in the Canadian Basketball League for the Canton Charge and the Halifax Hurricanes.

After his professional career, Cobb coached AAU basketball for the Atlanta Xpress, near his hometown of Decatur, Georgia for two years. Shortly after, Cobb returned to his alma mater as the Director of Player Development, a position he held from 2018-2022.

As a Wildcat, he appeared in 94 games, averaging 8.3 points per game and posted a .405 field goal percentage. Cobb started his career at Northwestern during the 2010-2011 season, where he averaged 7.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in his freshman campaign. During his sophomore year, he averaged 7.1 points in 21 games. He missed the 2012-13 season due to injury, but came back in the 2013-14 and posted career-highs of 12.2 points per game, 7.4 rebounds per game, and 2.3 assists per game. During his senior year, he was nominated captain for the Wildcats.
