PEORIA, Ill. - Bradley sophomore forward Taylor Brown (Atlanta, Ga./Dunwoody) turned in career-highs with 19 points and 10 rebounds for his first career double-double, leading the host Braves (3-1) to a 71-58 victory against Presbyterian College (0-4) in the second round of the HoopTV Las Vegas Invitational Tuesday night at Carver Arena.

After securing its 18th consecutive November home win and improving to 37-2 all-time in November games at Carver Arena, Bradley will head to the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, where the Braves will face Oklahoma State (4-0) in Friday's third-round action and either Illinois or Utah Saturday evening.

Presbyterian freshman forward Jake Troyli matched Brown with 19 points and shared team-high honors with five rebounds.  Freshman guard Zach Faircloth came off the bench to added 14 points for the Blue Hose and fellow freshman guard Khalid Mutakabbir chipped in 13 points and six assists for the visitors.  Bradley junior guard Andrew Warren scored 16 points and forward Milos Knezevic, a freshman from Las Vegas Liberty High School, scored his first career 11 points to complete the double-digit scoring.

Brown scored eight of BU's first 11 points in the first eight minutes after halftime to help the Braves extend the lead to as many as 19 points (55-36 with 11:15 to play).  The Blue Hose used a 15-5 run to trim BU's advantage to single digits at 60-51 with 4:44 remaining.

Presbyterian would later pull to within eight points with a free throw with 1:32 on the clock, but Bradley's Sam Maniscalco put the game out of reach with a three-pointer from the corner with 1:02 to play to push BU's advantage to 69-58.

Bradley ended the first half with a 9-2 spurt to take a 42-28 lead into the break.  Warren knocked down 5-of-8 shots in the opening half to finish the opening 20 minutes of play with 12 points.

The Braves shot 52.9 percent from the floor and outrebounded Presbyterian 33-22.
