About Bradley
Bradley (4-2) will try to carryover the momentum of its rare victory against Illinois, a 72-68 upset of the then No. 20 Illini Saturday night in the consolation final of the HoopTV Las Vegas Inviational, against another in-state rival when the Braves visit Northern Illinois (1-4) Wednesday night ... The Braves have been led by sophomore forward Taylor Brown, who was named to the all-tournament team in Las Vegas, and averages team-bests of 17.0 ppg and 7.5 rpg ... Junior guard Andrew Warren, who missed the entire 2008-09 season with a stress fracture in his foot, has returned to form by averaging 12.3 ppg ... Warren also leads the Braves with 12 3-pointers in six games, including the go-ahead trey with 36 seconds remaining Saturday night against Illinois ... Head coach Jim Les (Bradley '86) is in his eighth year as Bradley's head coach and owns a 130-107 record heading into Wednesday's game, including a 2-0 mark against the Huskies.

About Northern Illinois
Northern Illinois has started 1-4 while playing the last four games without leading scorer Xavier Silas ... The junior guard scored 18 points in the season-opener against Northwestern, but suffered a broken hand against the Wildcats and has not played since ... He is expected to be evaluated today and his status for Wednesday night's game against Bradley is undertermined ... Northern Illinois lost an 80-61 decision at Illinois in its second game and is coming off a 52-45 loss to another Bradley opponent, Missouri Valley Conference favorite Northern Iowa, Saturday night ... In Silas' absence, Darian Anderson leads NIU in scoring (11.8 ppg), rebounding (9.6 rpg) and assists (3.2 apg) ... The Huskies have averaged 17.8 turnovers per game through their first five games.

Quick Notes
Bradley owns a 7-1 lead in the all-time series against Northern Illinois and has won seven straight against the Huskies since NIU won the series opener, 19-18, Dec. 16, 1921 ... Bradley is making both its second straight and second overall trip to the NIU campus, where it downed the Huskies, 76-74, in overtime in the last series meeting Dec. 1, 2004 ... Bradley has won five straight games against non-conference schools from Illinois and eighth-year head coach Jim Les is 17-5 all-time against the state's non-Valley members.

Up Next
After playing three straight games away from home, Bradley will return to Carver Arena to host Western Carolina Dec. 7 ... The Braves then will take their fall semester final exams before resuming their schedule Dec. 16 against Loyola-Chicago in the return matchup of last year's BracketBusters Series game.
