DEKALB, Ill. - Bradley senior guard Andrew Warren scored 13 of his team-high 16 points after halftime and sophomore forward Taylor Brown followed suit with 11 of his 15 after the break, leading Bradley (5-2) to a 63-49 victory at Northern Illinois (1-5) Wednesday night at the Convocation Center.

Bradley overcame a 20-19 halftime deficit by shooting 68.0 percent (17-25) from the field in the second half, shaking off the high of Saturday's 72-68 victory against then No. 20 Illinois for its sixth consecutive non-conference win against teams from the state of Illinois.

In addition to the efforts of Warren and Brown, Bradley senior guard Chris Roberts chipped in with 11 points and matched his scoring output with 11 deflections on the defensive end.  Northern Illinois guard Darion Anderson was the only Huskies player to score in double-figures.

Both teams struggled from the floor in the first half, each connecting on nine field goal attempts and one 3-pointer.  While Bradley came out blazing in the second half, the Huskies made just nine more attempts from the floor in the second period and finished the game 18-for-53 (.340) overall from the field.  And while the Braves made 5-of-8 attempts from 3-point range after the break, Northern Illinois ended the night 1-for-20 (.005) from behind the arc.

Bradley's hot shooting in the second half allowed the Braves to stretch their lead to as many as 20 points.  Roberts had a steal at the top of the key and, despite Michael Patton tugging on his jersey for an intentional foul, was able to complete a transition bucket for a 61-41 advantage wtih 2:48 remaining.

After playing three straight games away from home, Bradley will return to Carver Arena Monday when the Braves host Western Carolina in a 7:05 p.m. tilt.  That will be Bradley's final game before final exams and the Braves will not play again until hosting Loyola-Chicago Dec. 16 at Carver Arena.
