PEORIA, Ill. -- For the second consecutive week sophomore forward Taylor Brown (Atlanta, Ga./Dunwoody) has been named the Bradley Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week announced Wednesday.
Brown finished with 15 points on 7-of-11 shooting and added four rebounds and one steal in 30 minutes of play as he helped the Braves to a 63-49 road win at Northern Illinois last week. A studio art photography major, Brown owns a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.
Each week, a Bradley student-athlete is selected as the Country Financial Scholar-Athlete of the Week. The individual chosen must be at least a sophomore in class standing and boast a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average, while displaying a level of athletic excellence.
The Bradley Men's Basketball team has a week off for finals before returning to action Wednesday, Dec. 16 against Loyola in a 7:05 p.m. contest at Carver Arena.
