THE STORYLINE
The 2011-12 Bradley Braves will face outside competition for the first time when the Braves host NCAA Division II Wisconsin-Parkside in the first of two preseason exhibition games ... Tuesday's exhibition will be first-year Bradley head coach Geno Ford's first game with the Braves ... Tuesday's game also will mark the return to the court for fifth-year Bradley senior forward Taylor Brown, who has not suited up for the Braves since March 6, 2010, due to cardiac evaluation that required him to miss the entire 2010-11 season ... Tuesday's game will be the second of three men's basketball events at Renaissance Coliseum in 2011-12: Bradley hosted the Red-White Scrimmage Oct. 18 in the on-campus facility and will host Southeast Missouri State Nov. 16 in the first regular-season men's basketball game versus a Division I opponent on campus since 1982.
THE SERIES
Tuesday's game will be the first-ever men's basketball contest, exhibition or regular-season, between Bradley and Wisconsin-Parkside ... Tuesday's game will be Bradley's 69th all-time exhibition game and the Braves are 54-14 all-time in exhibition play ... Bradley is 19-1 all-time in exhibitions against other college teams, but the Braves have lost two of their last three intercollegiate exhibitions.
