PEORIA, Ill. -- Creighton made 11-of-21 three-point attempts, including 5-of-8 in the second half, to post a 68-59 victory against Bradley in the final home game for BU seniors Latasha Hollingshed, Leah Kassing, Hanna Muegge, Lauren Niemiera and MacKenzie Westcott Sunday at Renaissance Coliseum.

Westcott, who appeared in her 119th career game to tie the Bradley career record for games played, turned in her seventh double-double of the year (14 points and 11 rebounds) to help pace the Braves (14-14 overall, 5-11 MVC).  She also added two assists, two blocks and four steals in 35 minutes of action.

Kassing got off to a strong start, scoring six of Bradley's first 10 points and combined with Westcott to tally 10 points and eight rebounds in the opening seven minutes of the contest as BU jumped out to a 14-9 lead.

Creighton (17-11 overall, 11-6 MVC) hit three 3-pointers during a 1:40 span and used a 13-0 run to take a 24-16 lead midway through the opening half.  The Braves later answered with an 8-0 spurt of its own, but the Bluejays hit their fifth and sixth triples of the opening half in the final 3:40 of play to take a 34-30 lead into the break.

The Braves pulled within two points 49-47 on a Catie O'Leary (Janesville, Wis./Parker/Wisconsin) three midway through the second half, before Creighton heated up again from long range.  The Bluejays shot 61.9 percent in the second half and pushed the advantage back to eight points (55-47) with nine minutes remaining with back-to-back three's.

Bradley trailed 56-52 after a Kelsey Budd jumper, when Creighton's Sarah Nelson hit a shot from the elbow as the shot clock expired on the Bluejays' next possession and back-to-back three-pointers by Johnson and Jensen pushed the Creighton lead to 64-52 at the four-minute mark.

Westcott scored four of Bradley's final five points and had a layup with 11.1 seconds left to cut the Creighton lead to 66-59, but the Braves got no closer as Carli Tritz made a pair of free throws for the Bluejays with 9.3 seconds left to close out Creighton's fifth consecutive victory.

O'Leary led Bradley in scoring for the second consecutive game, finishing with a game-high 18 points.  Westcott added 14 points on 6-of-12 shooting and a game-high 11 boards to help Bradley to a 39-29 rebounding advantage.  Kassing collected 12 points and eight rebounds in the final home game of her career.

Tritz paced Creighton with team highs of 15 points, five rebounds, eight assists, three blocks and six steals.  Ally Jensen made 5-of-5 three-point attempts to help highlight the Bluejays' three-point barrage and tied Tritz for team high honors with 15 points.  McKenzie Fejan and Sarah Nelson both added 10 points.

Bradley returns to action Thursday, playing a 7 p.m. game at Wichita State.  Thursday's game will be broadcast on WIRL 1290 AM, with the pre-game show slated to start at 6:40 p.m.
