FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - Add Bradley junior outfielder Mike Tauchman to the list of Braves playing across the country in summer collegiate baseball leagues.
A two-time All-Missouri Valley Conference pick at Bradley, Tauchman has joined the Fayetteville (N.C.) SwampDogs in the Coastal Plain League, and through his first seven games he is leading his new team with a .419 batting average, .516 slugging percentage and .486 on-base percentage, while sharing the team lead with three doubles. The SwampDogs have recovered from a 2-4 start by going 6-1 since Tauchman's arrival and the Bradley outfielder has hit safely in each of his first seven games.
Tauchman is one of 19 Braves playing in collegiate leagues across the country.
