Bradley will meet Dallas Baptist for the first time as postseason opponents when the teams face off in the final game of the second round in the 2014 MVC Baseball Championship at Indiana State's Bob Warn Field ... Wednesday's game also will be the first-ever meeting between the two teams away from Bradley's Dozer Park, where Dallas Baptist has won five of the six previous games in the series ... Bradley is attempting to start a MVC Tournament with two wins for the first time since 1994 and just the third time since the league began playing a multi-team, double-elimination tournament in 1972 ... Bradley is 7-2 overall this season in neutral-site games and 18-13 overall away from home.

Three of the tournament's lower-seeded teams won their first-round matchups Tuesday, capped by Bradley's 6-2 upset of host Indiana State in the fourth game of the day ... The first three hitters in Bradley's lineup - Chris Godinez, Spencer Gaa and Max Murphy - combined to go 5-for-6 with four runs scored and four runs batted in in the first three innings to jumpt start the Braves, while sophomore RHP Elliot Ashbeck (6-3) scattered nine hits in 8.0 innings to earn the win ... Third-seeded Dallas Baptist was the only top seed to win Tuesday, using a Drew Turbin walk-off home run in the 10th to pull out a 3-2 win against sixth-seeded Missouri State.
