HEADING SOUTH
After opening its 115th season by playing its first-ever games in Arizona, Bradley will head south for its next 16 games, beginning with a 3-game series Friday, Saturday and Sunday at McNeese State ... Bradley is playing in the state of Louisiana for the first time since 1the Braves earned a 3-2 win at Tulane March 23, 1976 ... Despite the southern destination, this weekend's schedule has been adjusted due to cold temperatures: Friday's series opener will start at 3 p.m., three hours earlier than originally scheduled, while Saturday's Game 2 will start at 11 a.m., four hours earlier than originally scheduled.

First Meeting
Bradley and McNeese State are meeting on the baseball diamond for the first time this weekend ... Current Bradley Softball associate head coach Chris Malveaux was the McNeese State softball head coach from 2005-08 and led the Cowgirls to the 2005 Southland Conference Tournament championship and second NCAA Tournament appearance in program history.
