Double Play Day/Bark in the Park - Bradley students attending Saturday's noon softball doubleheader, also against the Shockers, will receive free Bradley sunglases and a meal voucher to be redeemed at the baseball game. Shuttles will transport students from the Michel Student Center, to Bradley Park, to Dozer Park and back to campus.

THIRD VALLEY WEEKEND
Bradley will face perennial Missouri Valley Conference power Wichita State in its third league series of the season this weekend when the Shockers invade Dozer Park for a 3-game set ... Bradley enters the weekend series with a 24-9 overall record and already has matched its 2014 (24-27) season victory total ... The Braves are just two Valley wins short of last year's league total (5-16) ... Bradley enters the weekend 15 games over .500 for the first time since ending the 1996 season with a 40-22 record ... Ranked among the nation's leaders with 19 wins away from home, Bradley will start a season-long, 7-game home stand this weekend against the Shockers ... Wichita State skids into Peoria on a 5-game losing streak and the Shockers have lost 4-of-5 in The Valley since starting league play with a 3-game sweep at Southern Illinois.

Wichita State has dominated the series from the beginning and the Shockers have not let up ... Wichita State enters Friday's series opener riding a 19-game winning streak against Bradley and the Shockers have won 31 of the last 33 meetings since the Braves took 3-of-4 April 18-20, 2003 at Dozer Park ... Bradley won four of the first five series meetings at Dozer Park, but since a 9-8 win in 11 innings to start the 2005 series, Wichita State has won 11 of the last 12 on Bradley's home field, including seven in a row ... On a side note, Dozer Park is the stadium's third name in Wichita State's last three visits to the ballpark (O'Brien Field 2003-11, Peoria Chiefs Stadium in 2013).
