Beer suffered his first loss of the summer season Wednesday by allowing an eighth-inning run in a 3-2 loss to the Liberall BeeJays ... In five relief appearances, Beer is 0-1 with a 6.00 ERA, but he has boasts 16 strikeouts and three walks in his 9.0 innings ... In seven games as a position player, Beer is batting .200 with five RBI's.
Matt Dennis | RHP | Anchorage Glacier Pilots | Alaska Baseball League
Dennis has only allowed one run in his first three starts of the summer, but he suffered his first loss with the Glacier Pilots Tuesday in a 1-0 setback against the Chugiak Chinooks ... Dennis allowed only one run on three hits in his 7.0 innings, walking one and striking out six ... In his three outings to date, Dennis boasts a 0.52 ERA and has allowed just nine hits with 14 strikeouts and four walks in 17.0 innings.
Zach Fairchild | C | Ozark Generals | M.I.N.K. League
Fairchild is batting .167 (4-24) in his first nine games with the Generals, but was 2-for-3 and scored his team's lone run in Wednesday's 9-1 loss to the St. Joseph Mustangs.
Spencer Gaa | 3B | Cotuit Kettleers | Cape Cod Baseball League
After a slow start, Gaa has heated up in the last nine games and raised his season average to .244 after a 1-for-3 effort Wednesday night ... The speedy third baseman also is second on the team with five stolen bases.
Evan Gruener | OF | Hays Larks | Jayhawk Baseball League
In 13 games, Gruener is batting .268, but he is reaching base at a .464 clip and he boasts a 1.096 OPS ... Although hitless (0-8) in his last three games, Gruener has a walk and two sacrifice flies in those games ... Gruener has contributed to 21 Larks runs in his 13 games with 13 RBI's and 10 runs scored (he has two home runs that counted toward both totals).
Tyler Leffler | SS | Willmar Stingers | Northwoods League
Leffler is batting .279 with 10 walks and six hit-by-pitches, boosting his on-base percentage to .417 ... He has reached base safely seven times in the last three games and he has reached safely in 17 of his first 19 summer games.
Drew Peters | LHP | Chillicothe Mudcats | M.I.N.K. League
Peters has made five appearances for the Mudcats with a 5.40 ERA in 10.0 innings ... Although he has not been credited with a win this season, Peters should have earned the victory in his lone start of the summer June 11, when he allowed only one hit in 5.0 scoreless innings before turning over a 4-0 lead to the bullpen in an eventual 8-3 win..
Peter Resnick | RHP | Hays Larks | Jayhawk Baseball League
After redshirting the 2015 season at Bradley, Resnick was a late addition to the Hays roster and has made three relief appearances totalling 1.2 innings ... Resnick pitched one-third of an inning Monday at home against the Liberal Bee Jays, but suffered three walks and a hit-by-pitch against the five batters he faced.

Riesner is batting .313 with two doubles and two home runs in his first nine games of the summer ... He has at least one hit in six of his first nine games, including a home run in his first at-bat of the summer June 9.

Roegner is 2-0 with a 4.08 ERA in his first three starts for Hays ... Roegner had a solid outing on Friday against Dodge City, pitching 7.0 innings with six strikeouts and only two earned runs, resulting in his second win of the season.

Weber is batting .189 in his first nine games of the summer ... Despite the low average, Weber has reached base safely in seven of his first nine games, including a 2-for-4 effort at the plate Wednesday at Danville.
