The Bradley Baseball team's participation in summer collegiate leagues across the country officially came to an end Monday night when Tyler Leffler's Willmar Stingers were eliminated from the Northwoods League North Division playoffs by suffering a 2-0 loss to the Duluth Huskies. Meanwhile, on the pro circuit, former Bradley shortstop Jason Leblebijian was promoted back to the Class A Advanced Dunedin Blue Jays Saturday, while Pittsburgh Pirates reliever Rob Scahill began his rehab assignment with a successful outing Thursday.

Allan Beer | IF/RHP | Hays Larks | Jayhawk Baseball League
A two-way player, Beer played 18 games in the field for the Hays Larks this summer, batting .197 with nine RBI's ... On the mound, Beer was 0-2 with a save and a 4.97 ERA in seven appearances and he struck out 18 in his 12.2 innings.
Matt Dennis | RHP | Anchorage Glacier Pilots | Alaska Baseball League
A third-team All-American closer for Bradley last spring, Dennis started in all eight of his appearances for the Glacier Pilots and finished the summer with a 2-3 and a 2.58 ERA in 48.2 innings ... Despite a rough outing in his final start July 27, Dennis did not allow more than one run in five of his eight starts, including 7.0 innings of shutout work in a 1-0 win July 13 ... Dennis boasted 34 strikeouts against just 10 walks in his 48.2 innings.
Zach Fairchild | C | Ozark Generals | M.I.N.K. League
Fairchild completed the 2015 M.I.N.K. League season with a .288 batting average in his 23 games and he ended the season on a roll by banging out eight hits in his final five games (8-17), including a 4-for-4 effort with two walks July 17.
Spencer Gaa | 3B | Cotuit Kettleers | Cape Cod Baseball League
Gaa was 3-for-8 in last week's two Cape Cod Baseball League playoff games, giving him a final .295 combined regular-season and postseason batting average ... Although an 0-for-4 showing in the regular-season finale Aug. 2 kept his season batting average below .300, Gaa hit safely in 12 of his final 13 summer games.
Evan Gruener | OF | Hays Larks | Jayhawk Baseball League
In 33 games, Gruener hit .218 with three home runs and 23 RBI's ... The Hays season came to an end with a 2-game series against a Puerto Rico collegiate team and Gruener homered in the series opener ... He finished third on the team with his 13 extra-base hits and led the Larks with four triples.
Tyler Leffler | SS | Willmar Stingers | Northwoods League
Leffler's 59 games played were third-most for the Stingers and he ended the summer batting .238 with two home runs and 21 RBI's.
Drew Peters | LHP | Chillicothe Mudcats | M.I.N.K. League
Peters appeared in 10 games, nine as a reliever, during the summer season and did not register a decision.
Cameron Roegner | LHP | Hays Larks | Jayhawk Baseball League
Roegner made seven starts for the Hays Larks, finishing 2-3 with a 3.27 ERA ... Roegner completed the summer with a 4.25 strikeouts-to-walk ratio, fanning 34 and walking just eight in his 42.2 innings.
Carson Weber | OF | Quincy Gems | Prospect League
Quincy's season ended Thursday and Weber finished the summer batting .246 in his 41 games ... Weber produced multi-hit games four times in the summer's last 14 games, including a 2-for-3 effort in the season finale against Hannibal.

Ashbeck earned the second win of his rooke pro season Aug. 3 by allowing one run on three hits in 4.0 innings of relief, allowing the AZL Padres to rally for an 8-7 win against the Reds affiliate ... Working out of the bullpen in all 11 of his pitching assignments this summer, Ashbeck is 2-0 with three saves and a 4.35 ERA ... In 20.2 innings, Ashbeck boasts 18 strikeouts against just four walks.
Chris Godinez | 2B/DH | Ogden Raptors | Rookie Northwest League | Los Angeles Dodgers
Godinez saw his streak of 22 consecutive games reaching base safely come to an end Monday night during an 0-for-5 showing at Helena, although he did reach on an error and score in the 6-2 Raptors win ... Although Godinez is batting .229 in his 27 games, he boasts a .402 on-base percentage, good for third on the team among the regular Ogden players.
Jason Leblebijian | IF | Dunedin Blue Jays | Class A Advanced Florida State League | Toronto Blue Jays
After thriving with the Lansing Lugnuts for 54 games during the middle of the summer, Leblebijian was promoted back to the Class A Advanced Florida State League Dunedin Blue Jays Saturday and was 1-for-4 as the starting third baseman in Monday's 3-2 win against Daytona ... In his 54 games with Lansing, Leblebijian hit .284 with seven home runs and 37 RBI's and twice was named the Midwest League Player of the Week.
Max Murphy | OF | Cedar Rapids Kernels | Class A Midwest League | Minnesota Twins
Murphy remains on the disabled list and has not played since July 17 ... In his second pro season, Murphy is batting .227 with four home runs and 30 RBI's in 77 games.
Rob Scahill | RHP | Pittsburgh Pirates
Scahill has been on the Pirates disabled list with a right forearm strain since June 25, but began his rehab assignment with a promising outing Thursday for the Gulf Coast League Pirates affiliate ... In a starting assignment Thursday with a limited pitch count, Scahill worked a 2.0 innings with five ground outs and a strikeout against the minimum six batters he faced ... Scahill is scheduled to throw 3.0 innings tonight for Altoona, Pittsburgh's Double-A Eastern League affiliate.

Tauchman is 5-for-11 with three walks in the last three games, raising his season batting average to .292 entering tonight's series opener against Trenton ... Tauchman has reached safely via a hit or walk in 17 of his last 18 games with 10 multi-hit games during the stretch, helping him climb to seventh in the Eastern League's batting race ...
