PEORIA, IL - Derek Bangert completed Bradley's rally from a 2-0 deficit with the go-ahead home run in the eighth inning, lifting the Braves (11-15) to a 3-2 victory against visiting Milwaukee (8-18) Friday night at Dozer Park.

Nathan Stong scattered nine hits over 6.1 innings, but turned the game over to Eric Scheuermann (W, 1-3) with one out and a runner at first in the top of the seventh.  Scheuermann got a pair of strikeouts to end the threat and went on to strike out six of the eight batters he faced to earn the win.

The Panthers grabbed the early lead when Daulton Varsho drew a bases-loaded walk with two outs in the second.  Milwaukee pushed its lead to 2-0 in the fifth on Cole Heili's 2-out, RBI double.

Hitless through the first four innings against Milwaukee starter Austin Schulfer, Bradley answered in the home half of the fifth with four hits and a sacrifice from the first five batters in the inning.  Brendan Dougherty and Jean-Francois Garon led off the fifth with consecutive singles and both moved into scoring position on Andy Shadid's sacrifice bunt.  Luke Shadid drove home Dougherty with a sharp single to left and Spencer Gaa legged out a high-hopper on the infield to plate Garon.

Schulfer allowed only one more hit in his outing, an Andy Shadid line drive single in the seventh, before giving way to Alex Fischer (L 0-1) to start the eighth.  The side-arming lefty caught Luke Mangieri looking to start the inning, but the right-handed swinging Bangert launched his team-leading seventh home run to straight away center field, where the ball landed on top of the wall for the game-winner.

The teams will continue their 3-game weekend series with a pair of noon starts Saturday and Sunday at Dozer Park.
