The Braves track and field teams claimed two titles on Saturday at the Redbird Invitational, hosted by MVC rival Illinois State.

Clinton finished the race in a time of 9:25.27 to edge out junior teammate Nikolas Hess (9:27.14). Clinton recorded the seventh-fastest career-best time in program history, while Hess just missed his personal-best time by two seconds.

Junior Daniel Gagne also finished as the top collegiate runner in the 800m run on Saturday, posting a career-best time of 1:54.38. Among the other highlights for the men's team was three additional Braves setting career-best times.
