Brendan Dougherty, 3B, Morehead City Marlins (Coastal Plain League)
21 GP, .182, 2 HR, 17 RBI
Though his batting average continues to suffer, Dougherty continues to produce runs for the Marlins.  He has reached base via a hit or a walk in 17 of his 21 games, while accounting for 26 runs.  During Morehead City's 6-game winning streak last week, Dougherty was 6-for-15 (.400) with seven walks, two doubles, five runs scored and six RBI's.  He enters Tuesday's action tied for third in the 16-team league with his 18 walks and tied for fourth with his 17 RBI's.

Isaiah Glidden, RHP, Paducah Chiefs (Ohio Valley League)
8 App., 1-2, 1 Sv, 1.47 ERA
Glidden has worked out of the Paducah bullpen in all eight of his appearances, most-recently earning the save in Sunday's 5-1 win against Owensboro by tossing 2.1 innings of scoreless relief to close out the win against the team with the best record in the Ohio Valley League.  In his previous outing during the week, Glidden allowed one run on four hits in 4.0 innings to earn the victory in Wednesday's 12-7 triumph at Henderson.  He combined to strike out seven against just one walk in his 6.1 innings of work last week and now boasts 19 strikeouts in 18.1 innings this season.

Keaton Rice, C, Springfield Sliders (Prospect League)
11 GP, .212, 0 HR, 3 RBI
Rice hit safely in all three of his games last week, capped by a 3-for-4 showing with a walk and two RBI's in Sunday's 11-7 win at Hannibal.  Rice has reached base safely via a hit or walk in all of his 11 games to date and his 12 walks have helped boost his on-base percentage to .422, third-best on the team.  Springfield has won each of the last five games Rice has started.

Brian Schrimmer, RHP, La Crosse Loggers (Northwoods League)
8 App., 0-0, 1 Sv, 2.25 ERA
Schrimmer made two appearances last week with varying results.  He walked all three batters he faced and was charged with his first two runs allowed of the summer in Wednesday's 9-8 loss at Duluth, but he came back Saturday to induce an inning-ending double play against the only batter he faced in the top of the ninth against Bismarck.  Since allowing five hits in his summer debut June 3, Schrimmer has allowed only two hits in his last seven outings.

Andy Shadid, OF, Lakeshore Chinooks (Northwoods League)
10 GP, .216, 1 HR, 4 RBI
Since starting his summer by going 1-for-12 in his first four games, Shadid now has hit safely in five of his last six games, going 7-for-25 (.280) with a double, a home run and four RBI's during the recent stretch.

Luke Shadid, IF, Morehead City Marlins (Coastal Plain League)
12 GP, .293, 1 HR, 4 RBI
Shadid has reached base safely in six consecutive games, highlighted by an offensive outburst Sunday when he was 3-for-7 with a double, home run, two RBI's and three runs scored in a 19-4 win at Edenton that clinched Morehead City's first-ever CPL First Half Championship.  Batting .293 in his 12 games, Shadid has hit safely in nine games and he extended his on-base safely streak to six games by going 1-for-3 in the first game and 1-for-4 in the second game of Monday's doubleheader split against Wilmington.
