The Bradley track teams posted 20 top-10 times at the Illini Twilight on Saturday night.

The 800m highlighted the night for both teams as the Braves claimed the individual champion in both the men's and women's races. Alec Hartman finished first for the BU men as BU posted the top three finishes and four of the top 10. Hartman crossed the finish line in first in a time of 1:49.98 – the second-fastest mark in school history and trailing only his own school record of 1:49.72. David Shadid placed second in a time of 1:50.98 (the third-best time in the BU record book), while Scott Seymour was third overall with a mark of 1:50.99.

In the women's 800m, Niamh Markham finished first overall with a time of 2:11.44. Kathryn Adelman followed closely behind with a time of 2:11.88 to place third overall.

The Braves also excelled as a team in the 1,500m races on Saturday with eight combined top-10 finishes. Michael Ward led the men with a third-place finish in 3:48.98 and was followed by Haran Dunderdale (5th; 3:51.92), Ben Potrykus (6th; 3:51.48), Simon Paige (8th; 3:52.64) and Jake Hoffert (9th; 3:54.92). McKenzie Altmayer led the BU women and crossed the finish line in third with a time of 4:40.44, while Emma Ehrhardt placed fourth in 4:41.62 and Amelia Lesher was ninth in 4:47.37.

Additional highlights for the Braves include Hannah Ivy posting the third-best time in school history in the 400m dash, placing fourth at Illinois with a time of 57.86. Kirstin Oakley also placed second in the 3,000m steeplechase in 11:09.15, while Nikolas Hess was fourth on the men's side in 9:32.50. Jack Franklin also turned in an impressive performance in the 5,000m run with a mark of 14:42.72 – the second-best time by a Brave this season.

The Braves continue action next weekend at California, competing at the Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. SAC Relays, beginning on Thursday.
