BRAVES BATTLE WITH COYOTES
Caroline Waite's seven first quarter points was part of Bradley's 19-15 lead over the South Dakota Coyotes on Sunday afternoon in Peoria. Also in that first frame, Alex Rouse hit an off-balance shot from well beyond the three-point arc to beat the shot clock. Bradley held a 27-17 lead all of three minutes into the second quarter, but the Coyotes responded with a 13-0 run to go up 30-27. South Dakota was able to maintain that lead to the tune of a 35-33 score.

In the third quarter, Daija Powell made a jumper just over a minute in, getting Bradley within a 40-35 score. They would not make a field goal the rest of the quarter. Caroline Waite made the most of her free throw opportunities, going 4-4 in the third. Between Powell's jumper and Waite's free throws, that was the scoring. Waite hit a trey to get Bradley to a 13-point deficit in the fourth quarter, but the Braves were unable to chip away any further. South Dakota came away with a 71-53 win, the Coyotes' third consecutive win in the three series meetings.

Despite the loss, multiple career highs rolled in for the Braves, including Alex Rouse scoring 12 points, Caroline Waite swiping three steals, and Isis Fitch dishing out three assists.

LUCKY NO. 7'S FOR THE BADGERS
The Wisconsin offense was right where it needed to be on Sunday in the Badgers' true home opener against North Florida. Wisconsin played Kansas State at American Family Field, home of the Milwaukee Brewers, back on November 11th, but the Sunday tilt with North Florida was the first game that counted in the confines of the Kohl Center.

In the second quarter, the Badgers couldn't miss. Practically, of course. Wisconsin shot 9-13 from the field, 4-7 from three, and 7-8 from the charity stripe, adding up to a 29-15 second quarter and a 42-27 halftime lead.

Wisconsin held on to a 35-27 second half to roll to a 77-54 win. Sera Williams had a double-double (15 points, 13 rebounds). Maty Wilke (15 points), Brooke Schramek (14 points), and Julie Pospisilova (12 points) were all also in double figures.

WHAT'S AHEAD
After Wednesday's game, the Braves play a regular season game at Carver Arena on Saturday, November 19th, when they welcome the Cowgirls of McNeese State for a 12PM tipoff. The game is part of a doubleheader with the men's basketball program, who will play SEMO at 3PM. On top of the games themselves, the 2005-06 Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 team will officially enter the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame alongside Women's Golfer Bari Erais.
