The Braves were looking to snag another big road win but fell short against Miami (OH) in a tough battle.
1ST HALF
Bradley and Miami (OH) faced off in Oxford for the first time since 2019 on Friday night. The Braves were coming off a big road win against Eastern Illinois, but the RedHawks proved to be a test. Bradley got off to a bit of a slow start, only shooting 33% from the field in the first quarter, but they improved to 41% in the second. It seemed the RedHawks couldn't miss, shooting 53% and 65% in the first two quarters alone. The Braves only got to the free throw line once in the first half and didn't convert. The RedHawks put pressure on the Braves from the start and never let up.
2ND HALF
The third quarter was Bradley's best shooting performance, shooting 43% from the field, 67% from three and 100% from the free throw line. Despite their best shooting performance of the game, Miami (OH) shot 56% from the floor and pushing their double digit lead even higher. Both teams shot under 40% in the fourth quarter, but there was little to be done about the lead the RedHawks built up throughout the first three periods. Four RedHawks posted double digits and even a triple double.
