Peoria, IL. The Bradley Braves claimed their 13th straight home win after beating Stonehill College 79-50 in Carver Arena on Dec. 19th to improve to 8-4 on the season.

Game Recap
Bradley and Stonehill met on the hardwood for the first time in series history earlier today. Stonehill came in with just four wins on the season but played a number of mid-major and high-major teams to the wire, namely Fordham and Boston College. Bradley was coming off a hard loss to #10 Arkansas. The Braves wouldn't take long to put some of it's past offensive woes behind them. BU jumped out to an early 9-0 run off of a pair of made three point shots and an 3-point play after a made layup and foul on Ville Tahvanainen. Bradley would keep the accelerator down and rattle of another 14-4 run and before anyone could blink Bradley led 29-9 at the under 8-minute media timeout. Stonehill would make on late run to cut the deficit to 14 but would ultimate trail 40-22 at halftime. As the second half got back under way Bradley's defense didn't give much ground. Duke Deen carried over a strong first half performance and never slowed down. The former Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year tallied 7 made three point shots before even making a 2-point shot. Deen finished with 26 total points to gather a new career high. However, Deen wasn't the only one to record a new career high. Ville Tahvanainen soared for 11 rebounds which was a new career high to the Finland sharpshooter. Tahvanainen finished just 3 points away from a double-double and Rienk Mast finished with a 13 point and 10 rebound double-double. In the later stages of the second half the Braves capitalized on their rebounding strength collecting a 23-50 edge to help seal a 79-50 victory with the bench closing out the remaining 4-minutes of the game.
