Peoria, Ill. -- The Bradley Track & Field team is slated for two events this weekend with the Dr. Sander Invitational Columbia Challenge and the IU Relays on the schedule.

Wilma Nielsen Off To A Great Start
Redshirt sophomore
Wilma Nielsen is off to a great start in the indoor season for the Bradley Braves. In two events, Nielsen has captured school records in the 600m and 800m races.
Nielsen participated in the Larry Wieczorek Invitational last weekend at Iowa, a select invitational race. The redshirt sophomore was recognized as the Missouri Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week on Wednesday, for her performance at last weekend's invitational.
This weekend, Nielsen is headed to New York City, New York to participate in the Dr. Sander Invitational Columbia Challenge. She is slated to compete in the Women's USA 1000m Invitational and could look to capture a third school record.
IU Relays
The Braves will have six student-athletes headlined in the women's division this weekend in Bloomington, Indiana.
Sophomore
Amiyah Davis will run in the 200m and 400m events. Freshman
Leah Thames will join Davis in the 200m and will also run in the 60m sprint.
Juniors
Tiana LoStracco and
Julia Nielsen will both run in the 800m.
Sophomore
Nicola Jansen and junior
Sophia McDonnell will both run in the 3000m.
On the men's side, just four runners are making the trip. Sophomore
Jack Crull will run the 1 mile while the trio of
Alec Danner,
Charlie Parrish and
George Watson will run the 3000m.
