St. Louis, MO. The Bradley Braves 23-8 (16-4) now know who they will face in the Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Quarterfinals, The Northern Iowa Panthers 14-17 (9-11).

Setting the Table
Bradley got the best of UNI in the regular season as BU swept the season series against the Panthers. UNI advances to play BU after defeating the Illinois State Redbirds 75-62 in the first round of the MVC Tournament. Bradley has a 38-39 overall record in the MVCT and is 3-3 all-time against UNI in the MVC Tournament. Their last meeting in St. Louis was in the 2018-19 MVC Tournament championship game. Bradley won that matchup 57-54 after erasing an 18-point second-half deficit. Ja'Shon Henry is the only returning member of the 2018-19 championship team and he has not lost an MVCT that he has played in.
Â
Scouting the Panthers
Northern Iowa was led by a trio of 15+ point scorers in their win over ISU. The Panthers got great production from Michael Duax (19pts), Bowen Born (23pts), and Tytan Anderson (16pts). A big factor in UNI's win over ISU was the turnover battle. UNI forced Illinois State into 17 team turnovers and collected 19 points off of those turnovers. UNI comes into this contest against BU with one of the best rebounders in the conference Tytan Anderson. Anderson finished this season as the rebounding MVP but he will have his hands full down low against last season's rebounding champion Rienk Mast. Mast finished second in rebounding average this season.

Scouting the Braves
Bradley was the beneficiary of receiving the number one overall seed in Arch Madness. As a result, Bradley gained a first-round bye and will play their first Arch Madness game tomorrow at noon. Bradley has won two of the previous four Arch Madness Tournaments in 2018-19 & 2019-20. BU is led into the tournament by their All-MVC selections in Rienk Mast and Malevy Leons. Bradley leaned on their great defense to end the regular season which currently ranks as one of the best defensive teams in the nation, at 13th in the nation in defensive scoring at 61.3 PPG.Â
