IOWA CITY, Iowa – Four new top ten times in program history highlight a total of seven new personal best times set in the first Indoor meet of 2025 as Bradley Track & Field completed the Hawkeye Invitational on Saturday.
Carolina Martinez, one meet removed from breaking the women's 300m program record, set the fourth-fastest time in program history in the women's 400m, completing the race in 57.58 seconds.
Eilen Brenne and
Grace Kearns set new top ten marks in the women's 600m event. Brenne's 1:36.87 set the eighth-fastest time in program history, while Kearns' 1:37.00 was good for the tenth-fastest mark.
Kaitlyn Sheppard completed the women's mile in 4:49.84, setting a new personal best and the ninth-fastest time in program history.
Other individual personal best times set include
Ian O'Laughlin's 4:18.11 in the men's mile,
Jack Crull's 8:12.57 in the men's 3000m and
Caleb Lind's 8:17.97, also in the men's 3000m.
Other notable performances include
Amiyah Davis' strong run in the women's 400m (56.47),
Abigail Hancock's (4:53.22) and
Ciara Thornley's (4:57.74) sub-five-minute miles and
Zachary Balzer's 4:17.07 in the mile.
