BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. – Bradley Baseball dropped both games of Saturday's doubleheader in Boiling Springs, falling to Campbell, 14-3, in seven innings before dropping a 7-6 decision to Gardner-Webb in the nightcap.
Game One vs. Campbell
A Tough Opening Stretch
Campbell jumped out to an early lead with five runs in the opening inning and never looked back in the seven-inning contest. The Camels added three more runs in the second inning and extended their advantage with a six-run sixth inning to secure the run-rule victory.
Bradley broke through in the sixth inning when Luke Skinner launched a solo home run to get the Braves on the board. The Braves added two more runs in the seventh inning, highlighted by RBI opportunities created by Michael Quick and Hayden Miller.
Standout Performances for Bradley
Quick paced the Braves offensively, going 2-for-3 with a double, a walk, and a run scored. Skinner delivered Bradley's lone extra-base damage with a solo homer, finishing 1-for-4 with an RBI and a run scored. Miller added a hit and a walk, while Sohrab Rezaei also collected a hit for the Braves.

Lou Levy made the start for Bradley, allowing five runs over 0.2 innings. Gavin Thompson and Mason Lee followed in relief, while Anthony Martinez finished the game on the mound for the Braves.

Game Two vs. Gardner-Webb
Braves Build Early Lead
Bradley struck first in the second inning with a four-run frame. Angelo Aleman provided the big swing with a three-run homer to give the Braves an early advantage. The Braves added two more runs in the fourth inning to stretch the lead to 6-3, but Gardner-Webb chipped away throughout the middle innings before taking the lead late. The Runnin' Bulldogs used a two-run eighth inning to secure the comeback victory and complete the sweep of the nightcap.
Standout Performances for Bradley
Michael Quick and AJ Garcia each collected two hits for Bradley. Garcia scored twice, doubled, stole a base, and reached base three times in the contest. Aleman drove in three runs with his second-inning home run, while Luke Skinner reached base three times with a hit and two walks.
On the Mound
Robert Sanford turned in the start for Bradley, tossing 5.2 innings while allowing five runs and striking out five. Calen Scheider worked in relief for the Braves.
