Tyler Albright

Tyler, a native of Algonquin, Illinois, comes from nearby Heartland Community College in Bloomington, Illinois. As an assistant coach, he helped guide the Hawks to a NJCAA D2 World Series Championship. His team also appeared in the NJCAA World Series in 2022. In four years as an assistant coach, Heartland produced an overall record of 146-39. Tyler served as the Head Recruiting Coordinator, the Hitting Coach and Infield Coach. Before he joined the Hawks, Tyler served as the University of Tennessee at Martin Assistant Coach for one year. 

Before his coaching career, Tyler attended Oakton Community College for two seasons and University of Tennessee at Martin for three. At Oakton, he earned Skyway Conference MVP, First Team All-Conference and Third Team All-American honors during his sophomore season. In 2017 during his senior season at Tennessee Martin, Tyler posted a .343 batting average and recorded a 21 game on base streak. Tyler earned a spot on the OVC Honor Roll his senior year.Â
