Allen underwent knee surgery prior to the start of his freshman season and he developed a staph infection in the knee and was forced to wear a stiff brace that stretched from mid-thigh to mid-calf throughout his college career ... One of seven Bradley Basketball players to have his uniform number retired (31, Jan. 22, 1994) ... Led the nation in field goal percentage (.655) during the 1967-68 season ... Bradley Basketball team co-captain (1967-68) ... Recorded 13 30-point scoring efforts during his Bradley career, including a high of 45 points versus Southern California Dec. 9, 1966 at Robertson Fieldhouse ... One of three Braves to make 10 field goals without a miss, a 10-for-10 performance versus North Texas Feb. 11, 1967 at Robertson Fieldhouse ... Recorded the first triple-double in Bradley Basketball history with 25 points, 11 rebounds and 12 assists against Oklahoma Dec. 20, 1966 at Robertson Fieldhouse ... Finished his career third on Bradley’s all-time scoring list with 1,752 career points and fourth with 865 career rebounds ...
