AT MADISON COLLEGE • 2016-18 • Made two starts among his nine appearances as a true freshman in 2016, but managed only one appearance in each of the 2017 (redshirt) and 2018 seasons. • Posted a 1-1 record with a 3.57 ERA during his freshman campaign in 2016 AT CUBA CITY H.S. • A three-sport athlete in high school, Denlinger accumulated 12 varsity letters, four each in baseball, basketball and football. • A 4-time, first-team all-conference selection on the diamond, Denlinger also was a 3-time, first-team all-conference pick in football. • Threw four no-hitters in high school, including two perfect games. PERSONAL • The son Thomas and Tina Denlinger, Theron was born July 10, 1996 in Dubuque, Iowa. • Older brother, Trent, was an offensive lineman at the University of Wisconsin from 2012-14. • Has been adopted by the Lakota Sioux as Buffalo Boy (Tatanka Hok Shi-La). • His family has built a blacksmith shop at their home, where Denlinger has developed into an accomplished blacksmith artist, having created an impressive collection of knives and swords.
