2017-18 • SENIOR
Named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference Second Team • Led the Braves and ranked fourth in the MVC with 7.2 rebounds and 2.4 offensive boards per game • Became the ninth player in school history to lead the team in rebounding in three-straight seasons • Also placed in the top 10 in the league with six double-doubles (third), a field goal percentage of 54.3 (seventh) and with 1.03 blocks per game (eighth) • Ranked second on the team with 11.7 points per game, while leading the Braves with 13.8 points during Valley play • In MVC games only, ranked 11th in the league in points, second in rebounds (8.1), fourth in in field goal percentage (55.6), seventh in free-throw percentage (76.4) and seventh in blocks (1.1) • Scored in double figures in 22 games, including in 17-of-20 contests versus Valley schools • Scored a career-best 24 points on Senior Day versus Indiana State (Feb. 24) • Also eclipsed the 20-point mark in a victory over Southern Illinois, scoring 22 points on 8-of-10 shooting (Jan. 9) • Tallied the game-winning basket with just 1.2 seconds remaining in the MVC Quarterfinals against Drake, while also matching his career high with 14 rebounds (March 2) • His 14 boards are tied for the third most by a Brave at the MVC Tournament • Led BU in rebounding in 19 games and in scoring on 10 occasions • Also led Bradley with 35 steals during the campaign, collecting a season-high four at Evansville (Jan. 6) • Matched career highs with four assists against IUPUI (Nov. 11) and with three blocks in a win versus Loyola (Jan. 31) • Named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team.
2016-17 • JUNIOR
Averaged 7.7 points with a team-leading 6.6 rebounds • Ranked fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference in rebounds, sixth with 1.9 offensive boards per game and seventh with 4.7 defensive rebounds • Also placed third in the league with five double-doubles • In Valley contests only, placed third in the conference with 7.8 rebounds per game and sixth with a 54.4 field goal percentage • Started the final 24 games of the season with 9.0 points and 7.5 rebounds after recording just 3.9 points and 3.8 rebounds in the team’s first nine games of the season • Led the Braves in rebounding in 19 of the final 24 games of the campaign • Also increased his scoring in the second half of the season, ranking second on the team with 10.8 points in the year’s final 16 games (59.8 percent shooting) after averaging 4.6 points (39.7 percent shooting) in the season’s first 17 games • Registered a season high with 22 points in the regular-season finale victory at Drake, making 9-of-12 field goals to go with 12 rebounds – nine offensive (Feb. 25) • In a rematch with the Bulldogs in the MVC Tournament First Round, scored a team-leading 17 points (all in the second half) on 8-of-9 shooting – his 88.9 percent field goal percentage is the highest by a Brave in MVC Tournament history (March 2) • Collected a season-best 13 rebounds in home wins versus Northern Iowa (Jan. 11) and Evansville (Feb. 18) • Set a career high with four assists versus Hofstra (Nov. 21), while matching his personal best with three blocks against Illinois Springfield (Nov. 11) and Loyola (Jan. 25) • Named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team.
2015-16 • SOPHOMORE
Named to the Missouri Valley Conference Most Improved Team • Played in 31-of-32 games, starting 27 contests • Ranked second on the team with 9.1 points per game, while leading the Braves with 6.2 rebounds • Tied for fourth in the MVC with four double-doubles • Registered a season-best 22 points in a non-conference game versus SEC foe, Ole Miss (Nov. 28) • Buried two go-ahead 3-pointers with less than 30 seconds remaining, scoring the game-winning basket on Bradley’s last possession at Loyola (Jan. 13) and again with 23.9 ticks left versus Drake (Feb. 20) • Scored in double figures in 13 contests, including a five-game run from Nov. 22 to Dec. 5 • Led the Braves in rebounding in 11 games, collecting double-digit boards on seven occasions • Collected a career-best 14 rebounds in the MVC Tournament versus Loyola (March 3).
2014-15 • FRESHMAN
Appeared in 31-of-33 games as a rookie with five starting assignments • Posted 2.5 points and 2.5 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game • Enjoyed his most productive game in the regular-season finale, contributing nine points, nine rebounds, three blocked shots and two steals versus Indiana State (Feb. 28) • Also recorded five points, seven rebounds, three assists and a blocked shot at No. 11 UNI (Feb 21).
HIGH SCHOOL
After a strong start to his senior season, Thomas suffered a knee injury that sidelined home for the bulk of the 2013-14 campaign • Averaged 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists and two blocked shots per game during his junior season in 2012-13 • Earned first-team all-area honors from the Northwest Indiana Times, as well as all-conference honors in the Southwest Suburban Conference Red, during his junior season • A three-sport athlete (baseball, basketball and football) growing up, until focusing on basketball following his high school growth spurt.
