? After participating in several NBA tryouts, Sommerville began his pro career with Atomeromu SE Paks in Hungary’s A Division in 2006
? Sommerville's contract in Hungary was bought out by Angers BC 49 in France's Pro B league and he debuted with 19 points and four rebounds Jan. 5, 2007.
? After completing the regular seson with Angers BC 49, Sommerville finished his rookie pro season by helping Chalon to the semifinals of the French Pro A playoffs.

? Originally signed with Iowa out of high school, but transferred to Southwestern Illinois College after being redshirted his freshman season in 2001-02.
? A first-team junior college All-American in his only season at Southwestern Illinois College, Sommerville signed with Bradley during the 2002 Early Signing Period and enjoyed a stellar three-year career (2003-06) at his hometown school.
? Sommerville averaged 16.2 points per game during his three-year Bradley career, the ninth-best scoring average in school history, and he finished 12th on the school’s all-time scoring list with 1,493 points.
? The only Valley player to finish among the league’s top five in both scoring and rebounding during each of his three seasons at Bradley.

? Drained a career-best five 3-pointers during the first-round round upset of Kansas, highlighting his eighth 20-point effort of the season.

? For the second straight year, Sommerville ranked among The Valley’s top three in scoring (17.5 ppg) and rebounding (7.5 rpg), finishing third in both areas.
? Led the league by averaging 5.43 defensive rebounds per game and ranked second by averaging 34.64 minutes played per game.

? Named one of the nation’s top five junior college transfers by Dick Vitale in his 2003-04 ESPN.com preseason list of honors, Sommerville backed up the preseason billing by averaging 15.6 points and 7.3 rebounds per game in his first year at Bradley.
? Led the Missouri Valley Conference in rebounding and finished as the league’s third-leading scorer.
? Led the Valley with seven double-doubles.
? In addition to leading the team in rebounding, Sommerville became the first-ever Bradley newcomer to sink at least 50 3-point baskets (51) in a season and he tied for ninth in the league with 1.65 treys per game.
? Sommerville scored in double-figures in 29 of Bradley’s 31 games in 2003-04 and he made at least one 3-pointer in all but three games.
? In his first game as a Brave, Sommerville turned in a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, scored a basket with 0.7 remaining to force overtime and gave Bradley the lead for good with the first basket in the extra time to highlight a 73-65 victory Nov. 21 versus Louisiana-Monroe.
? In perhaps his best all-around game of the season, Sommerville turned in 25 points, eight rebounds, five assists and a steal in Bradley’s 72-64 win Feb. 14 versus Valley runner-up and NCAA Tournament participant Northern Iowa.
2002-03 (at SW Illinois College)
? Earned NJCAA Division I first-team All-American honors in 2003 after averaging 25.3 ppg and 9.5 rpg.
? Also named the Most Valuable Player for both NJCAA Region 24 and the Great Rivers Athletic Conference.
? Scored more than 30 points in 10 games, including a season-best 43 points against Olney Central College.
? Playing in the 2003 National Junior College All-Star Game, Sommerville converted a 3-point play with 14 seconds remaining to lift Team USA to a 135-134 win versus Team Arkansas/Oklahoma.
? Following his standout freshman season, Sommerville was the only junior college player invited to the USA Basketball team trials in May 2003, where he competed for a spot on the Pan American Games squad.
