2019-20 • SENIOR
Named to the All-Missouri Valley Conference Third Team • Only Brave to start all 34 games during the season • Scored a career-best 12.5 points per game as a senior • Ranked fifth nationally by making 44.7 percent of his 3-point attempts, while placing 34th with 88 made 3-pointers • His 88 triples are also the third most in the program’s record book, while his 44.7 percent clip is fourth • Also ranked ninth in the Valley with 1.2 steals per game, leading Bradley with 41 total • Placed second on the team with 74 total assists and second in the conference with a 2.5 assist-to-turnover ratio •  Matched career highs with 25 points and seven made 3-pointers in a win at Missouri State (Jan. 15) • Earned Rocket Mortgage Fort Myers Tip-Off All-Tournament Team honors after leading Bradley to a victory over Kansas State, scoring 22 points and making 6-of-8 from beyond the arc (Nov. 27) • Also scored 20 points in a win against Radford (Nov. 22) • Registered his first collegiate double-double with 17 points and a personal-best 10 rebounds in a win at Evansville, while also becoming the 49th player in BU history to score 1,000 career points (Jan. 8) • Made at least three 3-pointers in eight-straight games from Dec. to Jan. 8, matching the school’s record • Overall, scored in double figures in 23-of-34 games during the season, while leading the Braves in points on seven occasions • Also led the team in assists eight times and in rebounding four times • Scored 14 points – making 6-of-14 field goals – to go with four assists in the MVC Championship victory against Valparaiso (March 8) • Tallied a season-best seven assists at Loyola (Feb. 1) • Matched his career high with four steals against Georgia Southern (Dec. 15) • Became the first Brave in school history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District honors • Also named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete First Team and the Division I-AAA Athletic Directors Association Scholar-Athlete Team.
 

2018-19 • JUNIOR
Named the Missouri Valley Conference Sixth Man of the Year, the first Brave to earn the accolade since the award was first presented in 1997 • Played in all 35 games as a junior, averaging 9.3 points per game • His 9.3 points per game are the highest by a Brave that started less than half of the team’s games since 2005-06 •  Ranked second on the team with 65 made 3-pointers and a 40.1 percent clip from beyond the arc • Placed 10th in the Valley in 3-point percentage and sixth with 1.86 triples per game • Named to the Missouri Valley Conference All-Tournament Team after helping the Braves to their first conference title in 31 years • Averaged 9.7 points in three tournament victories, shooting 57.1 percent (8-of-14) from 3-point range • Led Bradley to a win against top-seeded Loyola in the MVC Semifinals, scoring 19 points to go with a six rebounds on 7-of-13 shooting and 5-of-8 from 3-point range (March 9) • Keyed Bradley’s 12-5 record to finish the season, averaging 10.4 points, while shooting 47.6 percent from the field and 47.4 percent from 3-point range (36-76) • Tallied a season-best 20 points in a win versus Valparaiso (Feb. 27) • Registered a season-high four assists on seven occasions • Named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team.
 

2017-18 • SOPHOMORE
Appeared in 33 games, starting 16 contests • Ranked third on the team with 9.2 points and 1.8 assists per game • Led the Braves and ranked fifth in the Missouri Valley Conference with 2.1 made 3-pointers per game • His 69 triples are the most by a Brave since 2010-11 and the third-most by a Bradley underclassman in school history • Led the Braves to their two road conference victories with two games of at least 20 points • Scored a career-high 25 points at Indiana State – including 11 points in the final five minutes of the game (Jan. 28) • Knocked down a personal-best seven 3-pointers (in nine attempts) versus the Sycamores, just one shy of the school record • Also tallied 20 points at Missouri State after making 6-of-10 triples (Feb. 21) • Led the team in scoring six times during the year with 13 double-digit games • Collected a career-best eight rebounds against Georgia Southern (Nov. 25), while registering a season-high five assists in three games • Named to the MVC Scholar-Athlete Second Team.
 

2016-17 • FRESHMAN

Played in 32 games as a rookie with 16 starting assignments, including each of the final 13 games of the season • Averaged 5.7 points, 1.9 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game • Made 42.4 percent of his field goals, including a team-best 41.3 percent of his 3-point attempts • Increased his production during Missouri Valley Conference action, averaging 6.8 points on 46.4 percent shooting with a 46.9 percent clip from beyond the arc • Ranked sixth in the conference in MVC games only with his 3-point percentage of 46.9 percent • Scored a season-best 17 points against Loyola (Jan. 7) • Knocked down a season-best four 3-pointers (in just five attempts) at Northern Iowa (Feb. 15) • Registered a career-best eight assists in a 77-68 victory over Missouri State, a season-high total by a Brave and the most since 2014, to go with 12 points (Feb. 22) • Scored in double figures in seven games overall, while leading the team in assists six times.
 

HIGH SCHOOL

Named the Peoria Journal Star Large School Player of the Year • Averaged 24.4 points per game during his junior season in 2014-15 and 18.4 points, 5.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 1.8 steals per game as a senior, while leading Metamora to a school-record 26 wins, as well as the Mid-Illini Conference and Dunlap Regional championships • Named the Mid-Illini Conference Player of the Year • Selected to the second-team 3A all-state team by the Associated Press and Illinois Basketball Coaches Association • Finished his career as Metamora's all-time scoring leader with 1,741 career points, which included a 52-point effort against Chicago Westinghouse during his junior season • Also played two years of tennis with the Redbirds.

Born December 18, 1997 • Son of Steve and Joy Kennell • Three siblings – Matt, Liz and Joe • Cousin of former Bradley shooting guard Aaron Zobrist, a member of the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame who starred for the Braves from 1993-97 • Zobrist scored 1,071, while ranking first in school history with a 3-point percentage of 42.4 and third with 233 made triples • Majoring in management information systems.
