Bradley senior outfielder Brian Martin (Glen Ellyn, Ill./Lombard Montini Catholic H.S.) has been named to the 14-player 2010 All-Jayhawk Collegiate League first team after finishing as the summer league's second-leading hitter and junior pitcher Justin Ziegler (Lenexa, Kan./Olathe Northwest H.S.) is one of two relief pitchers on the 2010 All-Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League first team.

Playing for the Hays Larks, Martin hit .386 and tied for third with 11 doubles while sharing the league lead with two triples.

In his first year at Bradley after transferring from College of DuPage, Martin earned second-team All-Missouri Valley Conference honors in 2010 after leading the Braves with a .364 batting average, 75 hits, 39 runs batted in, 12 doubles, four triples and 24 stolen bases.

In 12 relief appearances for the Licking County (Ohio) Settlers this summer, Ziegler was 6-0 with a 0.99 earned run average.  He allowed just 19 hits and two walks in 27.1 innings pitched while striking out 21.  The opposition managed just a .194 batting average and only two extra-base hits, both doubles, against Ziegler.

Used primarily in middle relief for the Braves, Ziegler was 2-1 with a 5.02 earned run averge in 2010 and he is 3-3 with a 4.52 ERA in his first two Bradley seasons.
