ST. LOUIS (AP) - Bradley senior guard Andrew Warren scored a game-high 17 points to move into 10th place on the school's all-time scoring list, but it was not enough to prevent No. 2 seed Wichita State (24-7) from eliminating the Braves (12-20) from the quarterfinals of the 2011 State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Tournament Friday night at the Scottrade Center.

Garrett Stutz came off the bench to lead the Shockers with 16 points  and point guard Joe Ragland added 11 opints for Wichita State.  Bradley also received double-digit scoring from senior guard Dodie Dunson (14 points) and junior center Will Egolf (12).

Already short-handed with the season-long losses of preseason all-conference players Sam Maniscalco and Taylor Brown, Bradley also played Friday night without starting forward Jordan Prosser, who dislocated his left kneecap in Thursday night's win versus Drake.  Taking advantage of the depleted Bradley roster, Wichita State played 10 players at least 13 minutes and all 10 scored for the Shockers.

Despite the short bench, Bradley was within 20-18 when Dunson drained a 3-pointer with 8:14 left in the first half, but the Shockers closed the period 15-4 run to take a 35-22 lead at halftime.  Wichita State carried the momentum over to the second half by starting the stanza with a 7-2 outburst, and Bradley was unable to get its deficit back into single-digits the rest of the game.

Wichita State will take on third-seeded Indiana State in Saturday's second semifinal game.
