The Last Time Out
Jan. 15: at Bradley 78, UNI 67
Bradley overcame a 16-point deficit with 17:17 remaining to end a 9-game losing streak Sunday afternoon at Carver Arena ... The Braves had not rallied from such a large deficit since climbing out of an early 17-point hole (28-11) for a 79-76 overtime victory Jan. 28, 2006 at Evansville ... Junior guard Dyricus Simms-Edwards matched his career-high with 26 points by sinking a career-best six 3-pointers, while senior forward Taylor Brown added 23 points and eight rebounds ... After UNI stretched a 36-24 lead to 44-28 by making three of its first five field goal attempts in the second half, Bradley abandoned its man-to-man defense for a combination of zone defenses ... The switch helped force UNI into cold shooting the rest of the night as the Panthers made just 8-of-24 (.333) field goal attempts and committed seven turnovers in the final 17 minutes.
Turning The Tide
Since the start of the 2003-04 season, Bradley has endured six losing streaks of at least four games ... The Braves have responded relatively well to those skids, putting together a winning record for the remainder of the season after four of the previous five losing streaks:
