INDIANAPOLIS – Senior guard Walt Lemon, Jr. scored a team-high 19 points and junior forward Tyshon Pickett recorded his first career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, leading Bradley (3-0) to a 79-72 win at IUPUI (2-2) Saturday night at The Jungle.

The Braves snapped an 11-game road losing streak to improve to 3-0 for the third consecutive year.

John Hart scored a game-high 26 points for the host Jaguars, who also got a pair of 15-point efforts from Mitchell Patton and Greg Rice.

Senior swingman Jake Eastman matched his career-high with 17 points and junior center Jordan Prosser added 10 points off the bench for the Braves.

Locked in a 65-65 tie following a Hart basket with 3:25 left, the Braves turned to its veterans to close out the game.  Senior guard Dyricus Simms-Edwards started an 8-1 run with two free throws and had a highlight caliber rebound-assist to Eastman that stretched Bradley's lead to 71-66 with 1:36 left.  Lemon scored five points in the final 53.4 seconds and teamed with Simms-Edwards (7) and Eastman (2) for Bradley's final 14 points.

The Braves will return to the road for their next game, another men's and women's basketball doubleheader, but this time featuring both the Bradley men and women at South Florida.  The women's game is scheduled for a 4 p.m. CT tip at USF's Sun Dome and will be followed by the 6:30 p.m. men's game between the Braves and Bulls.  Bradley will return home Nov. 24 to host Tennessee-Martin in a 1 p.m. game at Carver Arena.
