CEDAR FALLS, Iowa - UNI shot 63.3 percent in the second half to pull away from a 40-40 halftime tie en route to a 90-77 win against MVC rival Bradley in the quarterfinals of the CIT Tuesday night.

Seth Tuttle led five UNI players in double-figures with 19 points, while adding nine rebounds.  Bradley guard Walt Lemon Jr. led four Braves in double-figures with 19 points, while adding seven rebounds, six assists and a steal.

The Braves buried 7-of-12 3-point field goal attempts in the first half, but could not continue the hot shooting after the break.  UNI hit Bradley with an 8-2 burst out of the locker room to start the second half and never looked back.  The Panthers ended up making 19-of-30 field goal attempts in the final 20 minutes, including 7-of-11 from 3-point range.

The Panthers advance to the semifinals of the CIT and will host the winner of the Weber State/Oral Roberts game.  Fellow Valley member Evansville also advanced to the semis with an 84-83 win at Canisius.

Finishing the year with an 18-17 overall record, Bradley enjoyed an 11-win improvement compared to last season and entered Wednesday's CIT quarterfinal tied for sixth nationally for its improved win total.

In their final game as Braves, seniors Will Egolf scored 17 points, Dyricus Simms-Edwards 11 and Jake Eastman four.  Milos Knezevic played the final two minutes, snaring one rebound.
