CEDAR CITY, Utah – The top four hitters in Bradley's lineup went a combined 10-for-13 with six runs and seven RBI to help power Bradley to a 10-1 victory over Wagner Saturday morning to open the second day of the Beehive Classic.

Kelly Kapp and
Caitlyn McCarron along with junior
Elizabeth Leonard each had three-hit outings as the Braves slugged 16 hits in five innings to cruise to the 10-1 victory.
McCarron had the first of her two doubles in the game with two outs in the top of the first and came around to score on a single by sophomore
Katie Habryle to give Bradley (12-10 overall) an early 1-0 lead.
Wagner (0-9 overall) left a pair of runners on base in the bottom half of the inning and the Braves came up with another run in the top of the second. Sophomore
Stephanie Campos ripped a two-out double and Leonard pushed the Bradley lead to 2-0 with a RBI single to center.
Bradley had runners at the corners with no outs in the top of the third after singles by junior
Maria Schroeder and McCarron for Habryle, who drove in her second run of the contest with a single to center as the Braves grabbed a 3-0 advantage.
A five-run top of the fourth for Bradley broke the game open. Campos led off the frame with a single and came home on a Leonard single. Schroeder ripped a two-run double down the left field line and later scored on McCarron's second double of the day. Taylor Willhalm to give Bradley a commanding 8-0 advantage.
The Braves had a 10-0 lead after plating two more runs in the top of the fifth. Leonard led off the fifth with a triple and scored when Kapp reached on an error. Kapp, who had two stolen bases in the game, swiped third and came home on a sacrifice fly by McCarron.
Wagner managed to push a run across in the bottom of the fifth to break up the shutout bid, opening the inning with a single and double to plate a run. Bradley hurler

Emma Jackson to retire the next three batters and close out the 10-1 victory. Jackson earned her first victory of the season, scattering six hits in four innings.
Bradley will continue play at the Beehive Classic Saturday afternoon with a game against tournament-host Southern Utah.
