DES MOINES, Iowa -- Record-breaking runs and championship-winning races highlight another multi-meet weekend for Bradley Track & Field, competing at the Drake Relays, Payton Jordan Invite and Fighting Illini Twilight to close April.
Jaxson Copelin added a Drake Relays Championship to his stellar sophomore-season resume, taking home the gold in the men's 800m Finals with 1:49.02.
Jamie Phillips clocked in at 1:49.29 in the event to complete a Bradley 1-2 finish.

Amiyah Davis,
Trixie Wraith and Abi Hancock broke the women's Outdoor Distance Medley Relay program record at Drake, shaving 22 seconds off the record with a 11:13.80. The group now holds both the women's Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field DMR program records.
Amiyah Davis bested her own program record in the women's 400m event, bringing her personal best down to 54.71 seconds.
At Illinois,
Julia de Palma Mendiguchia broke the women's 400m Hurdles program record for the third time in April, bringing her best down to 1:02.16.
Elsewhere among the team, nine additional top ten times were set across the triad of meets.
Olivia Redpath (12.23, #5 W100m),
Brayson Barth (23.09, #6 M200m) and
Carolina Martinez (55.23, #2 W400m) logged new top ten times in sprints, while Hancock (4:16.39), Sheppard (4:18.88) and Wraith (4:20.04) set the fourth-, fifth- and sixth-fastest times in women's 1500m program history.
In long distance events,
Nadia Potgieter's late Stanford run set the third-fastest women's 5000m time in Bradley history at 16:04.88.
Skyler Balzer endured a lengthy 10000 meters to set the tenth-fastest time in BU history at 36:03.21.
