Series History
Michigan Leads 4-2
Last: May 29, 2015, NCAA Louisville Regional Game 1 | (3) Michigan 10, (2) Bradley 5
All six previous games in the series have been played at neutral sites … The teams had alternated wins in the first five meetings until Michigan followed up its March 21, 1984 win against the Braves in Edinburg, Texas with a 10-5 victory in Friday's Louisville Regional opener … The teams split two games April 8 and April 10, 1958 in Orlando and Michigan took 2-of-3 meetings during the 1984 Jody Ramsey Tournament in Edinburg, Texas.

Game 3 Recap | (2) Bradley 9, (4) Morehead State 4 | Saturday, May 30
The top three hitters in Bradley's order set the table by reaching base nine times, scoring six times, and a trio of Bradley pitchers held the nation's top offense in check for a 9-4 victory in the Louisville Regional's first elimination game … Bradley matched its season-high with 14 hits, including three each by third baseman Spencer Gaa (3-5, 2B) and first baseman Paul Solka (3-4, HR) … Reliever Nathan Stong (1-0) inherited a bases-loaded, 2 outs situation in the fifth inning and after surrendering a 2-run single that pulled Morehead State to within 7-4, the third-year sophomore allowed only two more hits in 3.1 innings of scoreless work to earn his first career win.

Game 1 Recap | (3) Michigan 10, (2) Bradley 4 | Friday, May 29
Making his third start in 10 days and battling illness, Bradley ace Elliot Ashbeck (11-5) did not have his best stuff Friday and Michigan took advantage by touching him for six runs on eight hits in just 3.0 innings … Michigan did the majority of its damage in the second inning, scoring four runs on five hits in the second inning alone … The bottom two hitters in the Wolverines order combined to go 6-for-8 with a walk, a sacrifice fly and six RBI's in 10 plate appearances, highlighted by a pair of home runs by catcher Kendall Patrick … Kentucky native Isaac Smith led Bradley's 10-hit attack by going 3-for-5 with a double, a run scored and a RBI and senior catcher Drew Carlile hit a 3-run home run in the 9th inning.

Down Goes The Streak
By staving off elimination with a 9-4 win against Morehead State Saturday afternoon, Bradley snapped a 10-game NCAA postseason losing streak since its third-round win against Wyoming in the 1956 College World Series … Saturday's win technically was Bradley's first-ever NCAA Regionals victory as the Braves previously had played in NCAA District V playoff series in 1950 (2-0), 1956 (1-0), 1957 (0-2), 1959 (0-2), 1962 (0-2) and 1968 (0-2).

Offense Heating Up
Bradley came into the NCAA Louisville Regional batting just .257 on the season, but the Braves offense has come to life in the first two regional games … After banging out 10 hits in Friday's 10-5 loss to Michigan, the Braves matched their season-high with 14 hits in Saturday's 9-4 win against Morehead State … In the first two regional games, Bradley is batting .324 (24-74) with two home runs and four doubles … Kentucky native Isaac Smith, a senior centerfielder from Richmond, has led the charge from his No. 2 spot in the lineup by going a combined 5-for-8 (.625) with a hit-by-pitch and a sacrifice bunt in his 10 postseason plate appearances.

Godinez Extends Streak
Bradley junior second baseman Chris Godinez was 2-for-5 in Friday's Louisville Regional opener then was hit by two pitches and drew a walk Saturday, extending his streak of consecutive games reaching base safely to 32 games … Godinez currently ranks sixth nationally with his .498 season on-base percentage … Godinez added to his single-season school record by drawing his 45th walk of the year Saturday.

Ashbeck Makes Olerud Award Top 10
Late Thursday night, Bradley junior pitcher Elliot Ashbeck was announced to the top 10 list of candidates for the John Olerud Two-Way Player of the Year Award … Ashbeck leads the final 10 candidates with 11 pitching wins … Returning to the batting order Saturday after his Friday pitching assignment, Ashbeck was 2-for-5 with a RBI and a double against Morehead State … In his 36 games as a hitter, Ashbeck now is batting .270 with 13 doubles and 31 RBI's, both good for second on the team, despite his limited at-bats.
